I’m both excited and nervous for my first photography showing tonight at the Edmonds ArtWalk! It definitely is a little nervewracking to have your work out there for people. I mean YOU like it and you hope they do too!
I really have no idea what to expect and how things will go. That’s part of the butterflies as well!
I dropped Andy off to run into the grocery store this afternoon to get a few things, and as I’m parking he calls and is like “Hurry and park the car. I think you’re going to want to see this.” I don’t know WHAT the occasion was (too early for Halloween), but WHO CARES!!! They were all so awesome and their outfits were great! My 39 year old husband says to the Stormtropper standing right at the entrance into the store “these aren’t the droids you’re looking for”!! What a complete nerd! It’s a little sad just how much fun we had at the grocery store!
I’m honored to have one of my photos selected as honorable mention in the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center picnic photo contest! It was great fun going around taking pictures and seeing others do the same. Photography is so amazing because of the huge variation in looking at the same thing. Fascinating to me!
